Government closest to home serves best
The levels of government that answer to us — our towns, counties, and states — should hold the majority of our tax dollars. We want to flip the balance so money flows to where people can actually see it work.
For The People
America, For Us is a grassroots movement to return the United States government to serving the people — by putting power and tax dollars closer to home, restoring honest elections, and rebuilding a country defined by both personal responsibility and brotherly love.
America, For Us is a grassroots movement with one purpose: to return the United States government to the people it was built to serve.
For too long, decisions about our lives have drifted upward — away from our towns, our counties, and our states, and toward a distant federal government that has proven slow to listen and quick to spend. We believe the answer isn’t to tear government down, but to bring it home: to put the majority of our tax dollars and our decisions at the levels closest to us, where they can be seen, felt, and held accountable.
We’re building a country defined by two things at once — personal responsibility and brotherly love. A nation where people take ownership of their lives and show up for their neighbors. Where the federal government does a few essential things well — protecting Americans, safeguarding our shared resources, and keeping the promises that let us move freely between states — and trusts the rest of us to do the rest.
This is a movement for the long haul, and it starts with you.
A few honest convictions hold this movement together.
The levels of government that answer to us — our towns, counties, and states — should hold the majority of our tax dollars. We want to flip the balance so money flows to where people can actually see it work.
We've been told career civil servants are the problem. They aren't. The swamp is the politicians and political appointees who trade public trust for private gain.
Our greatest national-security risk isn't abroad — it's a debt we keep handing to our children. Living within our means is an act of love for the next generation.
Businesses will always look out for themselves. The core duty of the federal government is to set baseline protections for Americans and to safeguard our natural resources for the future.
America should be a land of personal responsibility — and of neighbors who show up for one another. Rugged individualism alone is fracturing us; we can do better, together.
We should elect the candidates Americans actually want — not the favorites of narrow special interests. That's why we champion Condorcet (head-to-head) voting.
A focused federal government does a few things well — and leaves the rest to the states.
Add your name. We're building this together, one neighbor at a time.
